The Torus Group is in discussions over a potential “amalgamation” with Liverpool Mutual Homes, the Star has learned.
A source has told the Star of a “merger plan” for the housing organisations.
The Torus Group was formed in 2015 and is a combination between housing authorities Helena Partnerships and Warrington-based Golden Gates Housing Trust.
The source, calling themselves a ‘concerned whistleblower’ expressed worries this would “see the end of much loved local companies” and see “control” pass to the “senior managers in Liverpool Mutual Homes”.
