Washington, DC — The Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office 911 Communications Center recently was recognized nationally for excellence in providing emergency services that utilize the latest advancements in new technology.
Monmouth County Sheriff Shaun Golden recently traveled to the nation’s capital to receive the Outstanding 911 Call Center/Program Award from the NG911 Institute, a non-profit organization that promotes the advancements of 911 services.
In thanking the institute for the award, Golden acknowledged the efforts of the county board of freeholders and “the partners we serve under shared services agreements,” he said. “It is their vision and cooperation that allows us to save lives with the most effective and efficient technology being deployed by the best-trained operators in the world, while saving taxpayers millions of dollars annually.”
