This role will require you to take the lead in undertaking independent programme assurance reviews for major projects within the WMCA Investment Programme. The role sits within the WMCA Corporate Assurance team who are accountable for understanding and recommending mitigations to protect WMCA against risk exposures.
Potential candidates would be able to demonstrate considerable experience within a similar role and be familiar with appraisal methodologies such as the HM Treasury Green Book and Cabinet Office Major Project Authority framework.
Accountabilities (Deliverables):
Lead major project assurance reviews using a structured project assurance framework such as Cabinet Office approved Local Partnership Project Review model – assurance reviews should be tailored dependent on the project stage and on project complexity
