The Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership (GMHSCP), established in April 2016, is the body made up of the 35 NHS organisations and councils in the city region (with reach into primary care, regulators, the community, voluntary sectors and Healthwatch) that is overseeing devolution and taking charge of the £6bn health and social care budget. Through the GMHSCP, we are looking to appoint a Programme Manager who will work across the Adult Social Care, Commissioning and Quality Teams to lead on a programme of work around residential and nursing care.

There are over 560 residential and nursing homes across Greater Manchester and these homes make a significant contribution to functioning of the health and social care economy. This programme aims to bring together areas of work around quality improvement, responsiveness and adaptability with workstreams being progressed and delivered from either an adult social care and / or health perspective. With a Programme Manager confidently bringing these together into a co-ordinated and coherent programme and making sure the planning, implementation and delivery maintains a focus on achieving its key milestones, the Partnership will be able to improve its residential and nursing care offer (and related user experiences) for the residents of Greater Manchester
