To drive the delivery of a consistent and insightful central Employee Relations advice and case management service for managers and employees across the company; with a focus on empowering and equipping managers to develop high performing teams. Coaching the HR Services team to deliver effective first line support that escalates ER matters in an appropriate and timely manner within agreed SLAs. The team expert on Employment Legislation interpretation and application; responsible for maintaining up to date policies and procedures that are fair, equitable and easy to understand.
- Set up and fully establish a credible, consistent second line ER support operation, ensuring the HR Administration team are coached to deliver an effective first line service and know when and how to escalate ER & general issues to the second line.
- Ensure the advice and assistance given to managers, employees and HR Colleagues is accurate, consistent, appropriate and in line with legislation.
- Develop and maintain strong & trusted partnerships with managers and your HR Colleagues, providing constructive challenges as well as acting as a sounding board and advisor.
