MUFT is a forward thinking academic science centre at the heart of Health Innovation and following recent organisational changes we are now establishing our new hospital leadership teams and seek to appoint an ambitious Director of Finance to join the Manchester Royal Infirmary Hospital – an epic role for an exceptional individual.
As the Hospital’s chief financial advisor to the hospital board, you will be joining a newly formed team, taking lead responsibility for:
- Working alongside the Hospital Chief Executive and fellow directors to develop the Hospital’s strategy, providing a vital contribution to ensuring a robust and clear strategy, business and marketing plans are developed and implemented and consistent with the Trust’s overarching strategy and direction, NHS priorities and stakeholder requirements. You will direct negotiation and completion of agreements with partner organisations in order to develop commercial and service development opportunities for the Hospital.
- Advising the Hospital Chief Executive and Hospital Board on the Hospital’s financial management and planning to ensure compliance with statutory and contract obligations and Trust’s overarching business strategy.
- Risk & Governance; ensuring that all regulatory and risk management requirements are satisfied and to direct the development of systems, control processes which will establish safe and consistent service delivery and monitoring arrangements within the Hospital.
